Namaste, a film inspired by true events is a highly inspirational drama / romance about a young musician who becomes deaf as a result of an accident. Through the extraordinary bond he creates with an abandoned, deaf dog, he overcomes immense obstacles while fighting to acclimate to a new silent world in order to reach remarkable success in the music industry. Ultimately, this film proves that anything is possible when you believe in yourself, unconditional love and when you learn to hear with your heart.
Namaste shares deep raw emotion and genuinely depicts human triumph, while at the same time educates the world and increases awareness about hearing loss, animal abuse, the strength of the human/animal emotional bond and the incredible power of one’s attitude and fortitude. Rich, deep subplots add incredible dimension to this truly heartwarming and inspirational story.
In the film, we are going to be exposing the horrific practice of Merle-to-Merle breeding, which often produces deaf/blind dogs that the breeders kill. Our hopes are that Namaste can be a catalyst to squash its existence.
