We are using Kickstarter.com as a way to help raise initial funding for Namaste.
At this time, we are moving past the traditional ways of funding films. We are looking to involve the public (yes, truly wonderful and generous people like you, who want to help make a difference in our world) in raising the funding to make this moralistic and inspirational film aimed at increasing awareness about traumatic brain injury and complete hearing loss.
In pledging on Kickstarter or to Chase Films, LLC directly, you will get the satisfaction of knowing that you helped make a huge impact on the deaf community, traumatic brain injury survivors and in the world. We plan to budget every single dollar of the funding we receive extremely wisely to produce the highest quality independent film possible. We will be using named actors for two of our leading roles and an experienced, top quality crew. We have to wait for funding to be delivered before we can make offers to actors; however, we will make those names available as soon as we get commitments. We will also use funding for top quality post production. An American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter will be hired to be on set working with the actors for the entire shoot and we wish to employ a deaf or hard of hearing actor for the main role.
